Collect work assignment sheets, section keys, from Housekeeping Office. Ensure worksheet is kept up to date throughout shift documenting all relevant guest information and keys are signed out & kept secure and in the room attendants possession at all times. Attend the team morning briefing for all relevant information pertaining to the day’s events. Check pantry of respective working section, completing the order sheet for items that need to be re-stocked. Communicate with the Butler team for any important information regarding guest rooms. Collect all information and ensure all is documented on the work assignment sheet. Communicate with the Floor Supervisor concerning rooms of priority for the day and special assignments/tasks for the day, relevant to the respective working area. Proceed with cleaning of the rooms, as per the St. Regis Brand Standards, following the ABC’s of housekeeping and ensuring complete guest satisfaction. Report maintenance issues to Housekeeping Supervisor & Office Co-ordinator. Any urgent matters should be reported to the Manager of Duty as well as the Butler team at the butler service pavilion. Report any odd occurrences, carpet cleaning requirements, pest infestations, etc. to Housekeeping Office Coordinator & Floor Supervisor. Fully understand all the services offered within the establishment, so guests may be informed correctly following queries. Assist the Housekeeping department in working in various areas within the resort e.g. Spa, Public Areas, Back of House. Ensure understanding and compliance of the various specific Housekeeping policies and procedures including the handling of broken glass, and waste. Anticipate guest’s needs through observation and offer prompt, efficient service either personally or through effective communication with other associates. Align working practices and conduct with “hotel brand” consistently strives to meet and exceed the expectations of both internal and external guests. Uphold the Starwood Cares culture by demonstrating the Star Service Standards at all times to guests and fellow associates. Personally ensure compliance with all relevant Workplace Health & Safety and Occupational Health & Safety legislation, and related “brand name” and Starwood Policies. Undertake additional duties as requested by the Housekeeping Manager/ Director of Housekeeping and Hotel Management. Fully aware of Cyclone, Tsunami, Bomb Threat Procedures, ensuring guest safety at all times. Jobs Requirements: SC or equivalent NTC - Housekeeping from Hotel School Atleast 1 year experience in Housekeeping in a Luxury Resort Outgoing and pleasant personaltiy Customer oriented Dynamic & self motivated Ready to work odd hours Only candidates residing within our transport coverage will be contacted.
