IT Engineer (Networking/Telecommunications)

In Mauritius since 1997, Globalcom Co Ltd, is expanding its team and is looking for a dynamic and ambitious and experienced professional for the post of IT Engineer.
 
Duties will cover the following ICT spheres:

• Networking
• Telephony
• Switching & Routing
• Servers

 
Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain network and voice infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues
• Provide outstanding IT support
• Attend and resolve any issue regarding the IT network and voice systems
• Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications to ensure that they work properly
• Training and supervise junior engineers and technicians

Candidate's Profile:

• BSc in Business Information Systems or equivalent IT studies
• Mininumof 3 years of experience as IT Engineer
• At least 5 years of experience in the ICT field (with onsite deployment experience)
• Drivers' License compulsory
• Team management and project management experience
• Technical knowledge of IT hardware and software
• Knowledge of networking and voice
• Good communication skills
• Ability to deal with difficult customers
• Team spirit
• Good analytical and problem solvingskills
• Preference for candidates residing in the upper Plaines Wilhems

 
Remuneration and Benefits:

• An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the right candidate

Working Days & Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 - 17:00
• Saturday: 8:00 - 12:30
