Job Description

Primary Purpose

The Marketing Executive will work in close collaboration with the Communication team to prepare all marketing collateral to support the brand and will be responsible for driving the formulation, design, and execution of the marketing strategy. The incumbent will be preparing the Marketing budget in line with company strategic objectives and ensure strict adherence to the budget.

Responsibilities
1. Marketing & Communication
  • Prepare, in consultation with the relevant stakeholders in each of the different sectors of activity, and in particular the real estate cluster a comprehensive Marketing plan that will enhance company image and its position in the marketplace as well as promote the products
  • Ensure the plan is implemented and executed within budget and agreed deadlines
  • Review and amend the plan as needed to ensure sales target
  • Work in close collaboration with the Communication team to prepare all marketing collateral to support the brand, using the most appropriate platforms
  • Establish relationships with external creative/advertising agencies
  • Select suppliers and vendors to execute and deliver on specific projects
  • Organize and lead road shows and other relevant events in line with company strategy
  • Ensure regular updates on the company website so as to keep it relevant
  • Formulate a comprehensive Social media strategy and make sure it is implemented
2. People Management
  • Manage the Marketing team
  • Recruit, retain, coach and develop staff in the Marketing team
  • Co-ordinate the work of all parties involved in delivering on the Marketing
3. Manage the Marketing/Sales & Communication Budget
  • Prepare the Marketing budget in line with company strategic objectives
  • Ensure strict adherence to the budget
  • Ensure adequate systems and procedures are in place for managing and tracking of expenses
  • Develop all marketing / customer processes, policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and cost optimization

Education and Qualifications
1. Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or relevant qualification
  • Digital Marketing certificate is desirable
2. Experience:
  • At least 5 years in the Marketing field
Skills and Competencies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • A solid understanding of the Marketing mix
  • Cross-functional working skills
  • Attention to details
  • Working knowledge of communication tools and platforms
  • Knowledge of the Adobe Suite (Photoshop/InDesign) would be an advantage
  • Social media skills
  • Effective organizational skills
