Job Description
Responsibilities• Complete KYC/CDD quality assurance for Mauritius merchants and vendors
• Maintain regulatory licenses for Mauritius
• Ensure Payment Options operations in Mauritius is in compliance with all regulatory obligation including schemes/acquiring bank rules
• Manage and coordinate meaningful reporting internally and externally, respond to information requests and proactively communicate regulatory changes and notifiable events
• Review and test Payment Options risk and compliance programs and processes.
• Identify gaps and take ownership of resolution
• To develop, implement and maintain Business Continuity plans for Mauritius;
• Any other tasks as may be assigned.
Job Requirements
Requirements• Must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree or above
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance and/or risk functions in the financial services industry, preferably in fintech/payments
• In depth knowledge of the regulatory compliance, and practical knowledge of payment network rules and acquiring risk standards
• Excellent communication both written and verbal, and ability to work well with others (across departments and jurisdiction)
• The flexibility to work outside normal office hours (if required)
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• ICTA certification and/or ACAMS certification would be an added advantage.
