Job Description

1. Plan, ensure execution and follow-up of all maintenance request

2. Collect and analyse data to make customer focused business decisions; ensure associates understand and exceed customer expectations.

 3. Ensure training  of manpower.

 4. Maintain effective Energy Management and Preventive Maintenance programs an

 5. Prepare technical data,project work, alterations, and repairs for properties. Must have basic knowledge of building codes.

 6.   Conduct walk-through and visually assess the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of the physical structure(s) of the hotel, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and any other related equipment.

7.  Adhere to all required purchasing policies and controls, including, but not limited to, all outside contractor bids, budgets, and schedules. Follow prescribed safety procedures for personnel and equipment by the company and OH&S.

 9. Supervise necessary repairs and maintenance throughout the hotel inclusive of:-

  1. CHILLER
  2. HVAC  AND REFRIGERATION
  3. GENERATOR
  4. MECHANICAL
  5. PLUMBING
  6. ELECTRONIC  AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS & CONTROL
  7. CARPENTRY & FINISHING
  8. ENERGY CONSERVATION
  9. GENERAL BUILDING
  10. PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE PROGRAM
  11. FIRE ALARM , PROTECTION & EVACUATION SYSTEM

 12. Assist in hiring, training, supervising, and disciplining department staff and all other staff of the Maintenance Department.

 13.Provide clear direction, establish goals and appropriate timeframes; manage conflicting priorities; delegate to and empower others; remove obstacles and secure needed resources; coordinate work efforts and monitor progress to achieve desired results in a timely fashion.

 13. Accept personal responsibilities and accountability for achieving results in a timely fashion; ensure clear authority and accountability for results by others.

 14. Verify completion of all routine maintenance on public spaces, meeting rooms, outlets, back of the house spaces, and grounds. Verify completion of all repairs, replacement, and renovation projects to offices and employee work areas.

 15. Commit the resources and time needed to train and develop others; both for their personal growth and to meet organizational needs; identify and pursue learning opportunities for yourself.

 17  Foster a common vision; lead others by setting the proper example; demonstrate consistency between actions and words.
19.Personally ensure compliance with all relevant Workplace Health & Safety and Occupational Health & Safety rules, and related Hotel Policies

Job Requirements

At least 4-5 years’ experience in similar work environment

 - Must possess strong leadership and supervisory skills

 - Strong analytical, interpersonal skill
