We are looking for Technical Assistants with a degree in Agriculture

The duties as Technical Assistant will consist mainly of :
 

1. Organising and following through the registration process of any new product addition to our range (speciality and generics) for Insecticides, Fungicides, Nematicides, Herbicides, Pest Control products (bio and non-bio),seeds, nutrition products and bio stimulants, equipment etc..
2. Application and follow up of import permits and trials with DCCB/NPPO and MSIRI/FAREI .
3. Providing technical information/support  to customers indoors and outdoors with a view to promote sales.
4. Provide technical & logistics assistance to Agricultural Consultants and R & D Farm staff for the preparation of trial protocols, laying down of trials ,follow up and harvesting of trials. Compile trial results for submission to Agricultural Consultants.
5. Assist in the preparation and follow dispatch of soil samples for analysis
6. Report to management on trials progress and provide pertinent market information
7. Assist Technical Development Lead in other cognate duties.

The Employee Profile should be as per below:

• Age : Between 23 and 45
• Qualifications : Holder of a degree in agriculture
• Preferably holder of a driving licence for private vehicles
• Experience with planters and in agricultural inputs will be an advantage

Hours of work:
Monday to Friday: From 8:00 am to 17:00 (with one hour break for lunch and tea)
You may be called to start work earlier than prescribed when field visits are required and to work on Saturday for special events.
