Manage and supervise cashiers and front-end staff to ensure efficient operation of checkout counters.
Monitor and maintain checkout areas, ensuring cleanliness and organisation.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional and timely manner.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including cash handling and security measures.
Train new staff on front-end procedures, customer service standards, and product knowledge.
Perform regular audits of cash registers and transactions to identify discrepancies and prevent losses.
Coordinate with other departments, such as sales and inventory, to resolve issues and improve overall store operations.
Maintain accurate records of transactions, refunds, and voids.
Supervise and support cashiers in providing excellent customer service.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
High school Certificate or equivalent.
Previous retail or supermarket experience preferred.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic maths skills for cash handling.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.[shift system]
