Job Description
- Payment Verification and Reconciliation:
- Review, verify, and reconcile various payments, including invoices, payroll, and purchase orders.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly financial reports, expense statements, and cash flow forecasts to provide an accurate financial overview.
- Query Resolution:
- Address financial queries from clients, suppliers, and staff in a timely and professional manner.
- Audit Support:
- Provide necessary documents and reports for audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Fund Processing and Allocation:
- Process fund receipts and allocate them to the appropriate customer accounts in the accounting system.
- Ledger Reconciliation:
- Verify and reconcile ledgers, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and proper documentation.
- Additional Accounting Duties:
- Perform other related accounting tasks as assigned by senior officers.
Job Requirements
Education & Certification:
- Ongoing or completed ACCA Level 1 and/or
- Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Accounting and Finance.
Experience:
- At least 3 years of work experience in accounts payable.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Sage Pastel 200/Evolution or similar accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like VLOOKUP and PivotTables.
- Other relevant professional certifications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel certifications, are a plus.
