Job Description

One of our client based in Grand-Baie is seeking a skilled IT Governance and Compliance Analyst  in them Digitalisation and Technology (IT) department who will play a key role in our organization’s risk management, compliance, and project management functions.
The ideal candidate will bring experience in managing third-party risks, auditing, and supplier management to ensure our IT operations adhere to regulatory standards and optimize vendor relationships. This role requires a collaborative individual with strong organizational skills and a good understanding of IT general controls and audits.


Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Governance and Compliance
- Support the vendor due-diligence process and lead efforts in third-party risk management.
- Ensure regulatory controls are adequate, appropriate, effective, and regularly tested.
- Support internal and external audits to address compliance concerns.
- Conduct periodic IT control gap assessments to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Stay informed on evolving regulatory standards, IT security concerns, and industry trends.
- Manage risks by developing contingency plans to mitigate potential threats.
- Provide input into IT standards, policies, and procedures.
- Lead internal audits within the IT department, offering process improvement recommendations.
- Facilitate external audits by coordinating between external auditors and internal process owners.
 
  • Project Management
- Collaborate with project managers to monitor project progress with a focus on quality and performance.
- Work directly with stakeholders to ensure project effectiveness and budget adherence.
- Act as the Project Coordinator within the D&T PMO, ensuring timely tracking and reporting of project updates to leadership.
 

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field; relevant certifications in governance, risk, and compliance are a plus.
- 3yrs of working experience minimum                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     
- experience in software testing is preferable
- experience in G&C roles, with a good understanding of IT controls, risk management, and audit processes is preferable.
- Experience in project management is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
