An established and growing international management company, with a base in Port Louis is looking for a Corporate Administrator.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Ensure compliance with statutory filing requirements to Registrar of Companies and Financial Services Commission paying fees, tax return, VAT return, etc.
Ensure that the companies comply with their memorandum and Articles of Association, Constitution of Companies Act as applicable.
Administer a portfolio of companies.
Incorporation of companies GBC’s and domestic companies and handle administration of domestic companies.
Application of Occupation permits and residence permits for clients.
Arrange Board and Shareholders resolutions and minutes.
Keeping registers of members and directors of companies.
Review of accounts i.e. Directors, dates, shareholders, address, etc.
System update and maintenance.
Ensure that all correspondence and client contacts are attended to in a timely and professional manner.
Liaise with clients, agents and advisors when required.
Training/coaching of other team members.
Excellent written and spoken English.
French an advantage.
A relevant qualification/degree.
At least 5-8 years experience in offshore administration of trusts and companies Mauritian and non-Mauritian entities.
A good understanding of Mauritian Company & Financial Services law, as well as compliance and Anti-Money laundering regulations & practices.
Good understanding and experience in Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering regulations, Companies Act 2001 and FSC regulations regarding GBL1 & GBL2 companies.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
High level of interpersonal astuteness.
Highly motivated, capable of working independently and under pressure.
Be able to work as part of a team.
Candidates must live in Mauritius and must be eligible to work in Mauritius
