We are looking for a highly creative, dedicated and accountable art director who will take the lead on all conceptions.
The Art Director will work directly with the Managing Director to ensure that the artwork created are up to standards, on time and within budget.
Degree holder in one of the following fields: graphic design, multimedia, art;
A minimum of 5 years of experience in design, marketing and communication;
Duties & Responsibilities
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Translate / collaborate with client and internal marketing / business development teams’ objectives into clear creative strategies, and design briefs;
Supervise design staff, freelancers, photographs, copywriters in the course of the production of any creative / marketing materials lead by the company;
Take ownership of all studio artworks, presentations applications, visual interfaces, prints, video and animations, photo/ video shootings, copy writing by:
Leading brainstorming/creative sessions to generate ideas;
Providing creative direction, setting the pitch, tone and moods and overall style
Designing and developing the information architecture, content skeleton;
Reviewing, approving visual appearance, consistency to brief and in line with the creative direction as well as ensuring that all design and quality standards are met for publication online, onscreen, print;
Coordinating with the operation and production manager / management team to ensure that all task related to production are planned accordingly and ensure proper communication to other team members for the delivery of materials as planned;
Interacting with clients or third parties for requesting content where needed;
Optimise the time of delivery of materials to ensure efficiency and productivity with respect to deadlines, internal reviews, load of work and planning;
Ensure that all works and materials related to the visual production are stored, backup and secured as per company operational processes and policies;
As part of the management team:
Review performance of the design staff and ability to grow within the organisation;
Contribute in building team spirit, motivation and engagement;
Contribute in the company strategy, and ensure the operational profitability; and Any other cognate duties that may be required by the employer.
