About the Role:

We are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Insurance Underwriter at our Vacoas Office. No prior experience is required — full training will be provided to the successful candidate.

The selected individual will undergo a one-month training at our Main Office in Plaine des Papayes before officially joining the Vacoas branch.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell a range of insurance products to clients

  • Provide professional advice and guidance on insurance coverage options

  • Collaborate with our Main Office and the Head Office of New India Assurance

  • Process new insurance policies and renewals

  • Assist with insurance claims processing and follow-ups

  • Perform administrative and clerical tasks related to insurance documentation

  • Ensure excellent customer service and maintain high professional standards

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • SC or HSC qualification

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer use

  • Strong ability to manage administrative tasks with accuracy

  • Fluent in both English and French (spoken and written)

  • Quick learner with a strong willingness to grow

  • Commitment to professional ethics and standards

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Experience in customer service is a plus
