Cleaner

A Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of various environments, including offices, public areas, and other facilities. Their duties include sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces. They also replenish cleaning supplies, empty trash, and report any maintenance issues. 

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and Sanitizing: Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces like floors, furniture, and fixtures. 
• Restroom Maintenance: Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures. 
• Waste Disposal: Emptying trash bins and recycling containers, and disposing of waste properly. 
• Supply Management: Replenishing cleaning supplies like soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. 
• Reporting Issues: Reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor. 
• Following Safety Protocols: Adhering to safety guidelines and using personal protective equipment when necessary. 
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintaining cleaning equipment and reporting any malfunctions. 
• Specialized Tasks: Depending on the setting, cleaners may also be responsible for tasks like carpet cleaning, floor waxing, or window washing. 

Skills and Qualifications:

• Physical Stamina: The job requires physical activity, including standing, bending, and lifting. 
• Attention to Detail: Cleaners need to be detail-oriented to ensure thorough cleaning. 
• Time Management: The ability to prioritize tasks and complete them within designated timeframes.
