Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Kitchen Cook to join our culinary team.
As a Kitchen Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and high-quality meal preparation for our customers.

Your key responsibilities will include preparing ingredients, operating kitchen equipment, maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, plating dishes attractively, and assisting with inventory management. You will also be expected to follow company recipes and cooking techniques while being open to suggestions for menu improvements and innovation.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Cook or similar role in a professional kitchen
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and food safety standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle heavy equipment
  • Knowledge of proper food handling and hygiene practices
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with kitchen staff
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Certificate in Food Safety and Hygiene (desirable)
  • Culinary qualification or relevant training (desirable)
