We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Software Developer to join our team. This role is ideal for an individual with up to two years of experience who is eager to build a career in software development, CRM, BPM and ERP systems and business applications.

 

The successful candidate will assist in developing and maintaining software solutions, support the implementation and enhancement of the company's ERP system and provide technical support to users across our hospitality and property development businesses.

The successful candidate will assist in developing and maintaining software solutions, support the implementation and enhancement of the company's ERP system and provide technical support to users across our hospitality and property development businesses.

Location: Grand Baie, Mauritius

 

Key Responsibilities

 

• Assist in developing, testing and maintaining software applications that support business operations.

• Support the implementation, configuration, testing and maintenance of the company's CRM and ERP system.

• Assist with CRM and ERP implementation activities, including data migration, system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-implementation support.

• Master the AI components native to the CRM solution and configure Agentic AI native solutions for the Group

• Ability to create workflows and business processes and provide support to Sales and Marketing teams using the Low Code/No Code configuration of the CRM

• Provide first-level technical support for software applications and CRM and ERP-related issues, escalating complex issues to senior team members when necessary.

• Assist end users with troubleshooting system issues and provide guidance on the effective use of business applications.

• Help develop reports, dashboards and simple system enhancements to improve operational efficiency.

• Assist with integrating business applications and ERP modules where required.

• Support database maintenance, data validation and system performance monitoring.

• Participate in software testing, debugging and quality assurance activities.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, user guides and standard operating procedures.

• Participate in system upgrades, maintenance activities and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Stay up to date with new technologies and actively participate in training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.

• Up to two years of relevant experience in software development, application support or IT

• Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

 

Technical Skills

 

• Basic knowledge of one or more programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, PHP or JavaScript.

• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL or PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

• Basic understanding of APIs and system integration concepts.

• Exposure to ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle or similar would be an advantage.

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environments is desirable.
