Job Description
Association for Population and Development (APD) is currently looking for assisant carers for a shelter. The Shelter is managed by APD under ageis of the Minsitry of Gender and Family Welfare. The job requires the following qualitites.
- Planning, implementing and supervising structured educational activities.
- Prepare balanced routine, which includes physical activites, rest and play time.
- Provide responsible care and maintain all safety standards
- Ensure a safe sanitary and orderly environment.
- Maintain professional and positive relationship with management, residents and staff.
- Notify management for any sign of emotional or developped mental issues.
- Provide structure and accountability but compasionate with residents
- Encourage residents to participate in all activities.
Job Requirements
- Main duty is to assist the residents (age 0 -18)
- Working on roster basis which includes Day shifts and Night shifts.
- Day Shifts: 8.30am to 4.30pm (8hrs)
- Night Shifts: 4.30pm till 8.30(next day) (16hrs)
- 5 days a week.
- Minimum education: Higher Secondary School Certificate
- Any other qualitfications will be beneficial.
