Client Accountant

CrossInvest is looking for suitably qualified persons for the position of Client Accountants/Senior Client Accountants. 

Location : Endemika Business Park, Petit Raffray, Mauritius 

The selected candidates will have an eye for details, be a good team player and be attentive to details and accuracy.


Responsibilities

• Handle a portfolio of GBL, trust and domestic clients.
• Preparation of accounts and financial statements under IFRS.
• Ensuring the accuracy of and compliance of financial information.
• Familiar with IFRS and the Mauritius Companies Act
• Good knowledge of Mauritian tax laws.
• Preparing tax returns and paying taxes on time.
• Ability to work in a team.

Qualifications

• ACCA qualified or partly qualified
• Good communication skills - written and verbal
• Prior experience in the global sector will be an advantage
• Having a good accounting background.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Well versed with VAT, TDS and PAYE calculations.
• Knowledge of accounting software will be an advantage.
