Job summary
An exciting opportunity has risen for a Medical Secretary to join the Podiatry For All Limited Team, working on a part-time basis.
The post holder will be expected to provide efficient and effective medical secretarial support to the Podiatrist and associated Medical Staff. You will also assist in the organisation of the Consultant's workload. Having a positive, enthusiastic and "can do" attitude with a strong work ethic is important. You must have excellent communication skills and be comfortable in dealing with patients and carers' telephone calls and queries. You will require competency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Cliniko would be advantageous. The ability to demonstrate your initiative and work as part of a dedicated team is an important part of this job.
The medical secretary faces a challenging range of tasks including acting as a personal assistant to the Podiatrist, you will be required to support the co-ordination of team working, supporting Multi -disciplinary meetings and associated administrative work.
A degree of office based and flexible working from home is available but will need to be discussed to ensure that this supports service needs and demands.
