Join Lovely Home, a leading retailer specializing in home improvement products, as a Store Manager for our Hardware/Materials Retail/Wholesale Department. In this role, you will oversee the operations of our retail and wholesale division, including managing the showroom and ensuring efficient inventory management. Your responsibilities include:
Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of retail and wholesale staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure exceptional customer service and sales performance.
Inventory Management: Oversee the procurement, storage, and distribution of hardware and building materials. Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and implement strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
Customer Service: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing knowledgeable assistance, resolving customer inquiries and complaints promptly, and maintaining a welcoming and organized showroom environment.
Sales and Revenue Generation: Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products to maximize sales opportunities.
Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to ensure favorable terms and cost-effective procurement and delivery of goods.
Operational Efficiency: Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for store operations, including cash handling, opening and closing procedures, and security protocols. Monitor and optimize store layout and merchandising displays to enhance product visibility and sales.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience in retail management, preferably in the hardware or building materials industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve goals and targets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
Sound knowledge of hardware and building materials products, including their uses, specifications, and applications.
Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to develop effective sales strategies and drive revenue growth.
Familiarity with inventory management systems and retail POS software.
