Driver / Messenger

Job Brief:
We are looking for a Driver / Messenger with a manual driving license.
Candidate profile and qualifications:
• SC holder or any other acceptable qualification
• Minimum of 2-3 years in the field
• Valid driving license
• Ready to work under pressure at odd hours and with tight deadlines
 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To provide transportation services to the company staff and always use safe driving techniques
• To be responsible for the good maintenance of the vehicle assigned to you
• To drive company vehicles to servicing place or for any mechanical repairs when needed
• To log in all driving duties which have been performed during the day
• To inform the need for insurance/declaration payments when required
• To maintain cleanliness of the Company’s vehicles at all times
• To be responsible for the security of the vehicles and its contents; to ensure that when leaving the vehicle, the vehicle is securely locked
• To be knowledgeable of the traffic laws and to follow the right procedure in case of loss of vehicle, its contents or of accident
• To be responsible for all dispatch duties assigned to you and to ensure that the jobs are being performed within the right time frame
• To log in all dispatch duties which are performed during the day
• Any other cognate duties in line with your capabilities
