Gaz Carbonique Ltée is currently looking for a Project Coordinator who will assist the Head of Production (HOP) to lead the Contracting department in the following duties:

• Ensure completion of  installation/maintenance works    within the approved budget, time frame and as per agreed quality and client requirements.
• Report and update on planning and progress of installation/maintenance works.
• Draft tender documents, BOQ and cost estimation.
• Prepare and review tender drawings and specifications of projects.
• Resolve and/or escalate to the HOP unexpected technical difficulties               that may arise on sites.
• Make periodic checks on site to ensure compliance with specifications and drawings, etc.
• Observe and enforce health, safety, security and environmental rules at project sites.
• Attend coordination meetings, prepare and submit reports to management, clients or contractors.
• Ensure adequate and timely invoicing of works carried out.
• Sharp stock management.
• Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications

• A degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics)
• A certification in the field of Project Management would be an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience

Competencies

• Knowledge of design, installation, and maintenance of MEP systems
• Proficient in Microsoft office applications, AutoCAD and planning/scheduling programs
• Knowledge of OHS requirements on construction/installation sites.
• Must be self-driven and motivated to meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity, resourcefulness and result-oriented
• Analytical mind with attention to details
• Good communication skills in French and English (written and spoken)
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving aptitudes
• Work neatly with a methodic approach
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
• Knowledge of e-procurement would be a plus
• Can lead a team of 10 workers
