Job Description
As an Assistant Pastry Maker, you will support the Pastry Maker in creating a variety of high-quality pastries and desserts. This role involves hands-on baking, decoration, and assisting with daily kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will need to have a strong passion for pastry arts, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Pastry Maker in Planning and Budgeting of the department
- Assist the Pastry Maker in preparing and baking a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts.
- Coordinate with the Purchase department regarding procurement of various items based on the stock levels and usage in the kitchens
- Assist Pastry Maker in conceptualising various Food and Beverage programs as per the unit’s requirement
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistency and quality. Measure and mix ingredients accurately.
