Unpack, sort, and stock merchandise on shelves according to established guidelines.
Rotate stock to ensure older items are at the front for optimal product turnover.
Maintain accurate inventory counts and report any shortages or overstock.
Ensure shelves are clean, tidy, and free of any damaged or expired products.
Assist in organizing backroom stock and keeping storage areas clean and organized.
Comply with safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Provide customer assistance as needed, directing them to products or answering inquiries.
Job Requirements
Previous experience in retail or shelf packing is preferred.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items (up to [specify weight]).
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Flexible schedule and ability to work weekends or holidays as needed.
Basic knowledge of inventory management is a plus.
