Resource & Fleet Management
Monitor availability of trucks and ensure timely maintenance to minimize downtime.
Verify the volume of goods each truck can accommodate to prevent overloading and optimize load distribution.
Delivery Operations & Route Management
Classify routes based on priority, distance, and delivery windows (e.g., urban vs. rural, peak vs. off-peak).
Collect feedback from drivers on route conditions (e.g., traffic, road closures) and adjust plans proactively.
Handle urgent orders by reallocating resources or prioritizing high-priority delivery.
Quality Control & Compliance
Inspect goods pre-delivery to ensure undamaged packaging and accurate labeling.
Follow up on returned goods (e.g., damaged items, incorrect orders) to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Client Communication & Order Verification
Manage phone calls from clients to address delivery inquiries, complaints, or special requests.
Confirm orders by phone/email with clients to ensure accuracy before dispatch.
Match purchase orders with delivery locations, quantities, and timelines to avoid discrepancies.
Deadline & Documentation Management
Monitor delivery timelines and resolve delays caused by mechanical issues, weather, or staffing shortages.
Maintain records of proof-of-delivery (POD), returned goods, and client feedback.
Generate daily/weekly reports on truck utilization, delivery accuracy, and staff performance.
