Job Description
- Recruitment of staff
- Manage the on-boarding and off boarding of employees
- To prepare the end of probation report of workers and send to all HOD.
- Maintain employee records.
- Conduct the processing of monthly payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
- Draft memos, warnings and other HR - related documents.
- Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate performance appraisal processes and assist with reviews.
- Identify training needs and organize professional development programs.
- Create a positive working environment by providing proper guidance on disciplinary and grievance issues in compliance with the Mauritian Labor Laws.
- Assist in drafting HR policies, processes and procedures and ensure that all employees are in strict adherance to them.
- Handle all procedures for expatriate recruitment - Work Permit & Dormitory compliance.
- Compile and prepare monthly HR report and present to the management for analysis and decision making.
- Coordinate training and workshops, inclu- venue, facilitator,invitation, attendance records, HRDC application and refund process material.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Human Resource Management with at least 1 year experience in similar position preferably in the construction industry.
- Excellent understanding of various HR functions such as pay & benefits, recruiment, on-boarding, evaluation, training, and development etc
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and priotize tasks.
- Comprehensive knowldge of Mauritian labour laws and regulations.
- Autonomous and self-driven who likes to create your own goals.
- Advanced knowlegde of Excel, PowerPoint and MS Office/Outlook.
- Problem solving skills
