Job Description
Altiva Holdings Ltd is a holding with a portfolio of close to 30 companies registered in Mauritius and other jurisdictions. It is and acts as shareholder, director, and bank signatory for most of these structures.
Altiva requires for the next phase of its expansion to bring in house complete accounting services in respect of these entities. It is therefore looking for a full-time qualified and experienced Accountant to meet the fiscal, legal, and corporate obligations of the companies under its management.
This position will suit a person looking to take the next entrepreneurial step in his/her career as, in the medium to long term, he/she will effectively come to manage Altiva.
The profile of the ideal candidate is as follows:
- Qualified with International Accountancy Degree
- Experience as Accountant and/or Auditor for at least 3 years
- Experience in the total process of preparing accounts to filing returns
- Experience in dealing with various MRA Departments and Registrar of Companies
- Experience with Payroll services
- Ability to provide written Financial Analysis from accounts issued to Directors/Shareholders
- Experience in preparing Business Plans
- Experience in preparing and submitting applications for financial support to financial entities like banks, DBM, and SME Mauritius
- Familiarity with ERP platforms like ZOHO, ODOO would be an advantage
We are seeking to hire a candidate with minimum ACCA Level 7 Certification and 3 years minimum experience as outlined above.
We are willing to consider a candidate with ACCA Level 5 Certification (or higher) provided that he/she has 5 years experience as outlined above.The candidate will work remotely and at times at client premises. As a result they are required to have a valid licence and vehicle.
