Job Summary:
The Accounts Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the finance team in preparing reports and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Record and reconcile daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payments).
- Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of entries.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Generate customer invoices and follow up on outstanding receivables.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Banking & Cash Management
- Handle bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Prepare and process bank deposits and payments.
Reporting & Compliance
- Assist in preparing financial reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
- Support external audits by providing necessary documentation.
Support Functions
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data.
- Maintain organized records and documentation for all transactions.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
