Donaldson Vacation Homes (DVH Luxe Retreats) is an international holiday home management company, successfully operating across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and now expanding into Mauritius.
We specialise in premium short-term rentals listed on Airbnb, Booking.com, and our own direct booking platforms. Our mission is to deliver world-class guest experiences while building a trusted portfolio of luxury properties.
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Property Manager to lead our Mauritius operations. This is a pivotal role, ensuring every property meets DVH Luxe standards of quality, compliance, and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Development
Secure new villas and residences under 1–3 year lease or management agreements, with owner consent for short-term rentals.
Build strong relationships with property owners, brokers, and agents in Mauritius’ prime tourist zones.
Compliance & Licensing
Manage the Tourist Residence Licence process with the Mauritius Tourism Authority for each property.
Ensure full compliance with local regulations, insurance, and safety requirements.
Operations Management
Oversee furnishing, inspections, housekeeping, and maintenance across multiple properties.
Ensure every villa is guest-ready, with consistent quality control.
Coordinate and supervise third-party service providers.
Guest & Brand Experience
Provide warm, professional guest arrivals and handle in-stay requirements.
Maintain portfolio-wide guest satisfaction scores of 90% and above.
Uphold DVH Luxe Retreats’ premium brand standards in every detail.
Requirements
Proven experience in managing holiday homes, villas, or luxury short-term rentals.
Strong understanding of permits, licensing, and compliance within hospitality or property.
Background in hospitality or property management; hotel sector experience is an advantage.
Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills; fluency in English required (French and Mauritian Creole highly valued).
Valid driver’s licence; ability to travel across multiple property locations.
Professional, reliable, and committed to high service standards.
Compensation & Growth
Base Salary: MUR 25,000 – 35,000 per month (depending on experience).
Growth Incentives: Additional performance-based bonuses may be awarded for portfolio expansion and sustained guest satisfaction.

Proven Experience in managing holiday homes, villas, or short-term rental operations (multi-property portfolio experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of permits, licensing, and compliance within hospitality/property in Mauritius.
Background in hospitality, property management, or real estate; prior hotel or holiday home company experience is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills — fluent in English; French and Mauritian Creole highly valued.
Operational skills in vendor coordination (housekeeping, maintenance, security) and guest relations.
Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills and the ability to maintain quality standards across multiple properties.
Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel between properties as required.
Professional and reliable, with a hands-on attitude and willingness to personally oversee guest arrivals, property readiness, and inspections.
Comfortable working independently, making sound decisions, and representing the DVH Luxe Retreats brand in Mauritius.
