Job Description
- Manage the full recruitment cycle: drafting job descriptions, posting vacancies, screening applications, shortlisting, interviewing, conducting reference checks, and selecting candidates.
- Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding processes within the HR system.
- Prepare End of Probation reports and circulate to Heads of Departments (HODs).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation.
- Process monthly payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
- Draft HR-related documents including memos, warnings, and official correspondence.
- Ensure communication and enforcement of company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate performance appraisal processes and support employee evaluations.
- Identify training needs and organize employee development programs.
- Foster a positive work environment by advising on disciplinary and grievance matters in compliance with Mauritian labour laws.
- Assist in drafting and implementing HR policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Handle expatriate recruitment processes, including Work Permit and dormitory compliance.
- Prepare and present monthly HR reports for management analysis and decision-making.
- Coordinate training sessions and workshops (venue, facilitator, invitations, attendance, HRDC processes, and materials).
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management or related field
- Minimum 1–2 years of HR experience
- Knowledge of Mauritian labour laws and HR practices
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems
