Lapey.mu is looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to support the growth of our cloud payroll solution in Mauritius.
This role is focused on B2B solution selling, helping businesses understand how Lapey.mu can simplify payroll processing, improve accuracy, save time, and support compliance. The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying new prospects, building strong client relationships, presenting the solution professionally, and contributing directly to revenue growth.
We are looking for someone who can sell with confidence, listen to business needs, and position Lapey.mu as a practical solution for employers looking for more control and efficiency in payroll management.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities for Lapey.mu across Mauritius.
Prospect and engage potential clients through calls, meetings, emails, networking, and referrals.
Understand client needs and recommend Lapey.mu as a suitable payroll solution.
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations clearly and professionally, both in person and online.
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and existing clients.
Follow up consistently on leads, proposals, and ongoing opportunities.
Work towards monthly sales targets and revenue objectives set by management.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth handover from sales to onboarding.
Keep accurate records of sales activity, pipeline progress, and client interactions.
Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and common business payroll challenges.
Support the development of sales initiatives, campaigns, and promotional activities in collaboration with the marketing team.
Represent Lapey.mu professionally at meetings, events, and business networking opportunities.
Candidate Profile
Strong interest in B2B sales and business software solutions.
Confident communicator with good presentation and negotiation skills.
Results-driven, proactive, and self-motivated.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with clients.
Organised and able to manage multiple prospects and follow-ups effectively.
Comfortable speaking with business owners, HR personnel, finance teams, and decision-makers.
Good level of IT literacy and ease in understanding digital platforms.
Professional, dynamic, and customer-focused.
Qualifications & Experience
HSC holder with a Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in B2B sales.
Experience in selling software, SaaS, payroll, HR, ERP, or other business solutions would be an advantage.
Understanding of payroll-related business needs or the Mauritian business environment would be a plus.
Holder of a valid manual driving licence.
