Job Description
- Lay floor and wall tiles according to plans and measurements
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying adhesive or mortar
- Cut and shape tiles to fit edges, corners, and fixtures
- Align tiles properly to ensure neat finishing and correct spacing
- Grout, seal, and polish tiled surfaces
- Repair or replace damaged tiles when required
- Read and follow basic layout instructions or drawings
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
- Perform any ancillary duties as may be assigned to him by his employer or supervisor
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in tile laying works
- Good eye for detail and precision finishing
- Ability to work independently and on-site
- Physically fit and able to work in different environments
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Able to follow instructions and meet deadlines
- Good understanding of safety practices on construction sites
- Team player with a positive attitude
