Job Description

Taking Customer Orders:  

  - Greet guests courteously and take their tea and coffee orders efficiently.

  - Offer recommendations and address any inquiries about the beverage menu.

Setting Up Beverage Service:  
  - Prepare and set up tea and coffee stations, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are in place.

  - Arrange cups, saucers, and utensils neatly for easy access.

-   Serving Tea and Coffee:  

  - Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and timely manner.

  - Ensure beverages are presented attractively and at the appropriate temperature.

Monitoring and Replenishing Supplies:  
  - Keep track of tea and coffee supplies, and replenish items as needed throughout service.

  - Report any shortages or issues with supplies to the manager.

Cleaning and Maintenance:  

  - Perform pre-service and post-service cleaning of the beverage stations.

  - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the serving area to ensure a pleasant guest experience.

Assisting with Breakfast Setup and Cleanup:  

  - Support with setting out breakfast items and organizing the breakfast area.

  - Assist with clearing and cleaning up after breakfast service, including tables and serving stations.

Managing Beverage Presentation:  

  - Ensure that all tea and coffee beverages  are presented according to Oboē’s standards, including proper garnishing and presentation.

  - Adjust service to meet the preferences and needs of individual guests.

Handling Special Requests:  

  - Accommodate special requests from guests regarding their food and beverages preferences.

  - Provide personalized service to enhance the overall guest experience.

Maintaining Inventory:  

  - Assist in tracking and managing inventory of tea, coffee, and related supplies.

  - Collaborate with the team to place orders for replenishment as necessary.

Adhering to Food Safety Standards:  

  - Follow all food safety and hygiene practices to ensure a safe and clean environment for guests.

  - Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness.


 

Job Requirements

- Previous experience in a similar role within a hospitality or food service environment is preferred.

- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards guest service.

- Ability to work efficiently and courteously in a fast-paced setting.

- Attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and special events as needed.

- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

- Can be called upon for evening shift as well whenever there are events
