Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Plant Operator to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of our Acetylene plant, ensuring that all products meet stringent customer and quality specifications while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in the assigned work area.
In this role, you will monitor manufacturing processes continuously, support maintenance activities, and handle the loading and unloading of materials in line with our daily production plan and established procedures. Your attention to detail in record-keeping, accurate monitoring of tank readings, and reporting of irregularities will be critical to maintaining our operational excellence and traceability requirements.

Job Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Plant Operator or in a similar manufacturing/production role
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift, shift, and handle materials safely throughout the day
- Capable of wearing and maintaining Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) consistently
- Good eyesight for accurate gauge readings, monitoring, and record-keeping
- Basic reading and understanding of English and/or French instructions
- Basic computer literacy, including email and WhatsApp communication
- Minimum education level: Grade 10 or 11
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Flexibility to work odd hours and night shifts as required by operations
- Strong commitment to health, safety, and hygiene protocols
- Excellent attendance and punctuality record
- Willingness to participate in safety drills and risk assessment exercises
- Demonstrated accountability and responsibility in handling company tools and equipment
