Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef/Cook to join our culinary team. This role involves preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes that delight our guests and uphold our establishment's reputation for excellence. You will work in a dynamic kitchen environment, collaborating with fellow team members to deliver consistent, flavorful meals while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Key responsibilities include preparing ingredients, operating kitchen equipment, following established recipes and cooking techniques, plating dishes for presentation, and ensuring all food is prepared according to health and safety regulations. You will also contribute to menu planning discussions, manage kitchen inventory, and maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a professional kitchen environment
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary practices
  • Understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and HACCP principles
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and meet service deadlines
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle hot equipment safely
  • Attention to detail and commitment to consistency in food quality
  • Relevant culinary qualification or proven training is an advantage
