Head Waiter / Waiter

We are seeking experienced and professional waitstaff to join our hospitality team. As a Head Waiter or Waiter, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced dining environment, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable experience.

Key responsibilities include taking orders, serving food and beverages with precision, maintaining table settings, handling payments, and coordinating with kitchen and bar staff. The Head Waiter will also supervise junior staff, manage table assignments, and ensure service standards are consistently met. You will demonstrate product knowledge, handle special requests gracefully, and maintain impeccable personal grooming and hygiene standards.

This role is ideal for hospitality professionals who take pride in customer interaction, possess strong organizational skills, and are committed to upholding the highest standards of service excellence in a dynamic restaurant or hotel environment.

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a waiter or in food service (5+ years preferred for Head Waiter position)
• Excellent knowledge of dining etiquette, table service, and wine/beverage service
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tables
• Cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) system experience
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays
• Team leadership and supervisory skills (required for Head Waiter role)
• Fluency in English and French (Creole an advantage)
• Professional appearance and grooming standards
• Problem-solving ability and customer complaint resolution skills
• Flexibility with shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
