Job Description


Job Summary
The Field Scout plays a key role in expanding our partner network by identifying, engaging, and onboarding Guest Houses, Residential Apartments, Cafés, Restaurants, Clinics, and Auto Workshops across Mauritius onto our platform.
The ideal candidate is energetic, confident in communication, and comfortable working in the field.
This role requires frequent travel across the island, direct interaction with business owners or managers, and the ability to explain the value of the platform clearly and persuasively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and Approach Potential Partners
    Proactively locate and visit Guest Houses, residential apartment owners, cafés, restaurants, clinics, and auto workshops to introduce the platform and its benefits.
  • Present the Platform and Value Proposition
    Clearly explain how the platform can help partners attract customers, increase visibility, and grow their business.
  • Facilitate the Onboarding Process
    Assist partners with registration, collect required documentation, and guide them through initial setup and activation.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships
    Establish trust-based, long-term relationships with business owners and managers to ensure smooth onboarding and future cooperation.
  • Provide Initial Support and Guidance
    Help partners understand platform features, answer basic operational questions, and resolve simple onboarding-related issues.
  • Meet Weekly Onboarding Targets
    Achieve assigned weekly goals for new partner sign-ups to support consistent platform growth.
  • Field Reporting
    Provide basic feedback and updates on field activity, partner responses, and market insights.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Transportation: Must own a motorbike or private car (mandatory for field mobility).
  • Valid Driver’s License: Required for motorbike or car.
  • Field Sales / Customer Engagement Experience: Experience in field sales, marketing, customer service, or onboarding roles is highly preferred.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Confident in face-to-face conversations and able to explain services clearly and convincingly.
  • Local Market Knowledge: Familiarity with Mauritius and the local hospitality or service business environment is an advantage.
  • Self-Motivated & Target-Oriented: Able to work independently, manage time efficiently, and consistently meet weekly targets.
  • Presentable & Professional: Comfortable representing the company in direct business interactions.
