Job Description
The primary responsibility of the job holder is to drive the Company’s vehicles and ensure the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of products to clients’ premises.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Preparation and Delivery:
- Participate in the preparation of orders for delivery, including identifying products, removing them from shelves, and packing them as per delivery requirements.
- Acknowledge receipt of products for delivery and sign the invoices book accordingly.
Loading and Transport:
- Load outgoing products onto vehicles, ensuring they are stored and secured according to required conditions.
- Drive vehicles to various delivery points as per the delivery schedule.
Product Delivery and Payment Collection:
- Conduct a physical check of products with the client’s representative to ensure the correct items are being delivered.
- Collect payment from customers as per company policies and procedures.
Reconciliation and Reporting:
- Proceed with daily reconciliation of payments received in coordination with the Accounts department.
Vehicle Maintenance:
- Ensure the vehicle is always clean, well-maintained, and in good running condition.
- Liaise with the Accounts department for repairs, servicing, or handling any vehicle incidents.
Stock Management:
- Participate in regular stock counts and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy.
Other Duties:
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by management.
