Microsoft 365 Cloud Solutions Engineer – Security

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Microsoft 365 Cloud Solutions Engineer – Security to join our dynamic team and play a key role in securing our clients’ Microsoft 365 environments.
This is a technical, customer-facing role responsible for the end-to-end customer cloud deployment experience. You will lead customer engagements, including architectural design sessions, specific implementation projects, and/or proofs of concept.
Finally, you will act as a subject matter expert and evangelize the latest technologies and security features available in Microsoft 365.

Role
As an M365 Cloud Solutions Engineer – Security, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security solutions across Microsoft 365 workloads. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to strengthen identity, data, device, and application protection for both internal and client environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement Microsoft 365 security features across Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Configure Microsoft Intune cloud-based endpoint management service (MDM and MAM for Windows, iOS and android).
• Configure and manage Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Defender for Endpoint, and Defender for Cloud Apps.
• Deploy and monitor compliance and DLP policies via Microsoft Purview.
• Set up and maintain Conditional Access, MFA, and Identity Protection policies using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Monitor threat activity and respond to incidents using Microsoft 365 Defender and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Collaborate with customers to assess their security posture and provide recommendations aligned with Microsoft best practices.
• Automate routine security tasks and reporting via PowerShell scripting.
• Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and security baselines.
• Email and file migration from on-premises to M356 workloads.
• Work closely and mentor our helpdesk team to resolve incidents.
• Plan and execute change management for our existing customers.
• Work closely with our architects and engineers to recommend and design solutions that effectively reflect business needs, security, and service level requirements.
• Work with architects to conduct proof of concept (POC) and implement the design in production environment.

Skills and Experience

• Familiar with Networking and Firewall concepts.
• Proven experience managing security in Microsoft 365 and Azure AD environments.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Defender XDR, Purview, and compliance tooling.
• Proficiency in PowerShell for M365 automation and administration.
• Experience working with Microsoft Sentinel or similar SIEM tools.
• Strong knowledge of identity and access management concepts.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
