ob Purpose:
The Chef de Partie – Pastry plays a key role in preparing, supervising, and presenting high-quality products, ensuring consistency, innovation, and attention to detail, while maintaining hygiene and safety standards at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, produce, and present high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods in line with our luxury standards.
- Assist in the daily operations of the pastry kitchen, ensuring consistency and excellence.
- Supervise and support Commis Chefs and Demi Chefs in the pastry team.
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards are maintained at all times.
- Contribute to menu development and seasonal creations under the guidance of the Executive Pastry Chef.
- Monitor stock levels and minimize waste while maintaining cost efficiency.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a high-end/luxury hotel pastry kitchen or fine dining establishment.
- Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary pastry techniques, including plated desserts, viennoiserie, and bakery items.
- Formal culinary education or pastry certification preferred.
- A creative mindset with a passion for innovation and detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
