Receive, inspect and record all incoming materials and deliveries.
Maintain proper storage, labelling and organisation of construction and hardware materials.
Issue materials to site staff in accordance with approved requests.
Maintain accurate stock records and inventory registers.
Conduct regular stock counts and report any discrepancies.
Ensure that store areas are kept clean, safe and well organised.
Coordinate with the procurement and site teams regarding stock requirements and replenishment.
Previous working experience as a storekeeper in a hardware store or construction environment is essential.
Good knowledge of construction materials and hardware items.
Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
Computer literate (basic knowledge of MS Excel / stock systems will be an advantage).
Well organised, reliable and able to work independently.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
