Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Be the face of Deals.mu: You'll be the first point of contact for our guests, answering their queries via various contact channels (walk-in, phone calls, and emails).
- Book 'em in! Handle all aspects of reservations, and recommend the best deals and packages to suit each guest’s need and budget
- Handle client requests: Assist clients with inquiries about deals, bookings, and cancellations. Attend client requests in a timely manner
- Master of organization: Keep our reservation system up-to-date and organized.
- Team player: Work closely with other departments to ensure a smooth and enjoyable guest experience.
- Always learning: Stay informed about local attractions to help guests make the most of their trip.
- Ready for anything: Be flexible and willing to lend a hand where needed.
Qualification:
- Academics: SC/HSC, or Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism and Hospitality, management or in any related field
Experience and Skills Required
- Experience in working as sales or public relations, preferably in the hospitality or travel industries would be an advantage.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
- Strong Time Management & Organization: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, meet deadlines, and manage multiple requests simultaneously.
- Adaptability & Resilience: Thrive in a fast-paced environment and can effectively work under pressure.
- Outgoing & Customer-Oriented Personality: Possess a friendly and approachable demeanor with a strong customer service orientation.
